Install guides, spec sheets, a film calculator, and warranty registration, all in one place.
Step by step written guides for a clean install.
Wash, decontaminate, and wipe down with a wax free prep cleaner. Remove badges and hardware where you can. Film only sticks as well as the panel is clean.
Work in a clean, enclosed space around 70°F. Tack the film at the center, glass it out across the panel, and squeegee from the middle toward the edges.
Post heat recesses, curves, and edges so the film holds its new shape, and check the temperature with an infrared thermometer. Trim with knifeless tape or a fresh blade.
Typical amounts for a full color change with 60 inch film. Add extra for bumpers with deep recesses, mirrors, and a margin for mistakes.

Let the adhesive settle before the first wash, and keep the car out of automatic car washes.
Hand wash with a pH neutral soap and a soft mitt. Keep pressure washers at least a foot away and never aim them at an edge.
Skip abrasive polishes, solvents, and waxes with petroleum distillates. Clean off fuel spills, bird droppings, and sap right away.
Register the install so the warranty is on file. You'll find the lot number on the label inside the roll core and on your packing slip.
We're building a directory of shops that install Aero Filmz. Listings open to approved dealer accounts first.
